A short techno piece created for the February 2023 Colorado Modular Synth Society TechNO KICK Patch Challenge: make techno without a dedicated kick drum module.

I created the kick drum sound using a sine wave (Intellijel VCO 1U) processed by a distortion module (Noise Engineering Ruina Versio), and hats from a white noise module (Intellijel Noise Tools 1U).

I don't normally make techno, so figuring out how to do that along with the sound design to create percussion without dedicated percussion modules was quite fun.
