closeup of Synthstrom Deluge with OLED display Where have you been all my life, Synthstrom Deluge? You are almost exactly what I've been looking for in a sequencer/synth/sampler. I disregarded you when your display was 4 ugly red characters. But I looked again when I heard about your new easily readable OLED display. I'm so glad I did.

You make the basics so easy to learn. You make it simple to create a song. You can sequence MIDI, modular CV and gates, and internal sounds. Your internal synth is pretty decent, and you rock a number of classic and new drum kits. You can even make samples, even though I don't think I need that capability right now.

And to top it off, your battery power means you let me make songs anywhere. You have freed me from being tethered to my studio.

You have quickly become the main sequencer at the center of my rig.
