Victory
Two victorious battles against technology this week!
I learned how to replace a panel on a synth module. I received a new module that had a misprinted panel which made it almost impossible to use. The maker quickly sent me a new panel, and I managed to scrounge together the various sized nut drivers and wrenches to take the old one apart and install the replacement. A small and satisfying victory!
Meanwhile I've been trying out the Deluge with the modular synth. For now the Deluge plays the drum part and sends three MIDI parts to the modular via the FH-2 MIDI to CV module. I learned how to use the web configuration tool to configure the FH-2 for multiple MIDI channels. It was rather simple except for a frustrating bug in the configuration tool that wasted a lot of time until I figured out the workaround. Another small victory, but this one was not so satisfying.
